Planning for MPMF2010 now underway.
Abbreviated 2009 post and related media: In January of this past year folks from MidPoint Music Festival (MPMF) and Topic Design Group got together and mapped out a plan for the 2009 festival's branding, advertising and web presence.
Leading up to the September festival, MPMF revealed a completely updated and sustainable brand presence including its now iconic one-eyed riverboat captain Monty, an assortment of artistic advertising placements and posters, and its most notable marketing platform, its website mpmf.com which not only informs but also involves both its bands and fans in the development of content.
According to Dan McCabe, the festival's executive producer, "MidPoint Music Festival prides itself on discovering new talent. Our new partner Topic Design was easily the highest impact discovery. Topic delivered branding and website development coupled with a vision for the continued growth of MidPoint Music Festival. Now in it's 8th year, Cincinnati's music festival is realizing it's truest potential as a direct result of Topic's savvy and council."
Although much work has been done through this collaborative effort, the culmination of it will be realized September 24-26 in downtown Cincinnati as bands and music lovers from all over the world converge here and spread to 23 distinct performance venues and 1 unique social venue, live.mpmf.com.
