Closing the health gap crisis
04.15.2008
The Center for Closing the Health Gap in Greater Cincinnati is a community-based non-profit organization whose mission is to lead the efforts to eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana through advocacy, education and community outreach. Although regionally focused, the Center is part of a national Closing the Health Gap effort developed, implemented and supported by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
In becoming agency of record for the Center in the fall of 2007, Topic has been tasked with refining the Center’s brand, establishing its position as the regional provider of health programming initiatives in both the corporate and general populous communities, and developing a comprehensive integrated marketing communications campaign in support of its mission and goals.
The Center’s campaign launched on August 1st, and to date it has received quite a response for the community and likewise from the press. Topic is currently extending the campaign's original buy, has launched dorightcincy.org, the campaign's website, and we are working on a complimenting interactive DVD.
